Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa has unveiled the Cottonwood Pavilion, located in the Cottonwood Forest off the shores of the Rio Grande. Offering more than 8,000 square feet of space in a distinct setting, this expansive new venue makes for creative and innovative weddings, company meetings, retreats and social events.
Were ecstatic that we can bring this new enhancement to the resort, said Colleen Kareti, General Manager at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa. The Cottonwood Pavilion is unlike any other event space in New Mexico and provides the most spectacular setting for a variety of events.
Tucked away along the ancient trees of the Cottonwood Forest, the Cottonwood Pavilion provides a distinct setting for special events of up to 600 guests, including weddings, mitzvahs, anniversary celebrations, galas, holiday parties and more. In conjunction with the resorts meeting space, the Cottonwood Pavilion is also an ideal location for corporate meetings and events.
Upon arrival, The Cottonwood Pavilion features a dramatic water feature. Floor-to-ceiling window walls open to bring the outdoors inside. The window walls also open and allow for guests to access the outdoor covered terrace as well as providing natural light throughout. The 29 foot ceiling showcases contemporary chandeliers suspended throughout the venue.
Located next to the pavilion is the Cottonwood Gazebo with views of the Rio Grande and is picture-perfect for hosting wedding ceremonies and concerts. The horse carriage turn-around allows for the bride to arrive in a most unique fashion for the ceremony or to depart after the ceremony with the groom. It also allows for guests to arrive by horse-drawn wagon for themed events and parties.
